It was accidental...

Hi all,

I've been here for close to a month now, and I never really introduced myself.

I'm Eric. I'm happily married and I'm a father of a 6-yr old boy and an 11-month old girl. We have two cats, and 5 frogs/toad.

The passion and love for amphibians came accidentally when a Cuban frog was shipped at my wife's work (she was a florist then). We rescued the frog. We decided to get some fire-bellied toads and a green tree frog for the whole family, and terrariums for all.

It's when we got the bumble bee toad that I realized it was going to become a real passion/obsession.

We contacted a Montreal dendrobate breeder and added a R. ventrimaculata to our family (arriving next week). We started wingless fruit fly and springtail cultures to feed the Ventrimaculatus.

I'm also a web and online community strategist. I'm hoping to build a Facebook fanpage for this forum (although there's a group page). Still waiting on John for this one.
