Hi y'all,
new member here looking for some advice:
we found a tree frog in one of our plants inside today; we usually keep this plant outside during the warmer months but we've had it inside since late october; not sure if this frog was in the plant the whole time or if it somehow wandered inside at some later point. we live in middle tennessee and right now the temperature is just above freezing. i made the frog a little habitat inside a clear plastic container with some of the soil and part of the plant that this guy was living in (i put a mesh cover on it too so our cat won't get him). i am just wondering what type of care i need to give this frog ( i am not sure what kind he is but i am assuming he's a tree frog since he has little suction cups on the end of his feet). i don't want to put him outside since it's so cold but i want to make sure that his habitat inside is adequate till spring. i am planning on getting him a little aquarium/terrarium (unless it's ok to put him outside now). also what do i need to feed him (he's very small, maybe inch and a half long)...any suggestions are appreciated.
thanks,
inag
