I've never observed a FBT eating anything underwater..

The filter will break down toxin to an extent but yes I will be changing the water on a regular basis.

Fire bellies can and will catch fish and eat them.

Both of my fire bellies tanks are placked with plants. The plants help with the waste but do nothing for the toxins.

I did not coment on the layout as I did not personally like it. I think the styromfoam needs to go and they need some more places to get out of the water. They need some more plants to float on, climb on, hide under, etc. But for working with "what you had" I think it turned out ok.

Normally people on frog boards are not happy about mixing. You asked for opinions I am sorry if you were not real happy with them. All of them were just trying to help and offering good, sound advice.
