Well I seem to have a problem (maybe). I have an african clawed frog (a male). He's about 4 inches with his legs stretched. He's also about 4 or 5. He, um, *escaped* his tank the other day. He was only out of his tank for like 10 minutes, and I put him right back in. He still looked moist at least... Anyway back to the issue here. He's still swimming and eating so im not too worried and have since patched his escape tunnel.
This is him prior to his escape.
(He refused to come out of the rock cave)
He was a greenish Brownish color, Black pads under his arms (he is a male), and a white under belly.
This Is Him after the escape.
Pretty Light colored-- almost white. And a patch of dark on his head. (His nuptial pads on his forearms are also darker it seems..
This happened pretty much overnight, I do not know why. He is eating and swimming like nothing happened. He seems to be normal. Can anyone tell me what is going on here? Oh and what is that spot on his head, it's like the color he used to be.
