I went to this show hoping to pick up a baby pixie, but left without one. I did get a nice sized ornata pac man though so wasn't a total waste of time. I wish these shows had more turtles and frogs. Mostly full of snakes and geckos. Anyway was anybody lucky enough to get a pixie. I only saw 4 pixies from one dealer for $40 each, but they were juvenile females. There was a cool looking adult male around 6 inches for $180. The only other dealer with pixies had two 3 inchers, but they were dwarfs for $50 each. Think he was hoping people would think they were the giants.
Sorry that you could not find what you were looking for,but we were there on both days and saw plenty of frogs. There were actually more frogs at this show then in others past. I also saw the pixies but didn't really pay that much attention to them. At least you were able to get one frog. I came home with a pair of cobalts.![]()
I didn't walk out with a pixie because i have five now, but i almost walked out with another one! i've seen a couple of 3-4in. pixies that weren't dwarfs for 60! I think i mighta spotted two males(Looking at the shape of there head). I've seen the baby dwarf pixies too! They looked so different from baby giants. You should've been able to find one, hopefully next time, do you know when is the next la expo?
