    Hey guys!
    1. Which thumbnails are for beginners?
    2. Vazolinii, imitator, vents?
    3. Are there also some that spend more time on the ground than others?
    Thanks,
    Alex

I don't think that thumbnails are best frogs for beginners. They are very tiny and very fast. They also need very small prey. If you've kept other darts or have had experience with other types of tiny frogs go for it. Do your research and see them in person ifyou can. I like the imitators. Again check them out in person. I was setting up a display tank at work until I saw their true size and decided to go with Cobalts as I felt they would make better display frogs for the public.

yeah, thumbnails are small! I think that fants are bigger than most thumbnails though. Which FF are smaller, melongaster or hydei? I ordered a melongaster FF kit from Joshsfrogs.com so would that be better for small frogs or big darts?
    Thanks for your reply

I would say ventrimaculata is the easiest out of those.

They can be fed with a bunch of small feeder insects.

    Some possible candidates are:

    -small fruitflies (D.melanogaster)
    -small tropical woodlice
    -springtails
    -pea aphids
    -wheat weevils
    -flour beetles
    -confused flour beetles
    -rice weevil
    -grain weevil

    and so on
