How much ventilation does a terrarium for FBT's need? I have a screen top but I also use glass to hold in some humidity. So I guess my related question is how much humidity do FBT's need?

I don't think humidity is a big factor, as they are mostly kept in an enviro where there is from at minimum a decent sized water section, and more suitably, a large body of water. The toads will regulate themselves if given adequate habitat that provides areas that are water, dry, and marginal. Water quality is the highest concern for these toads as they produce waste daily. A good filter and regular partial water changes is key.

On a side note, I agree that 40 views with 0 comments is just sad. I just read it today...

Thanks for the replies. The humidity is more for the plants than the toads, I just want to be sure the humidity isn't bad for them. I still don't have toad yet - they are hard to find right now which probably has to do with the cold weather.

You do not have to worry about humidity because they will spend most of their time in the water. Although don't putthem into a desert habitat. sorry about the slow responses. There seems to be a lull right now with some of the regular members...I'm not sure why.

Can you link me to some threads here or other websites where I can get some info about growing/maintaining moss in my tank?

The tank looks very nice! I think the FB's will do great in there. Make sure that they are able to easily get onto the land in the left side of the picture. As it looks now, they will pull alot of moss into the water trying to climb up and out. Thanks for sharing your pic! It gives me ideas for future set-ups!

if u run into problems with your pebble not staying at 45• Angle for them to get out, you can silcone some rocks together like a ledge around the pool. Or use peices of slate for edge. With silicone you'll have to drain enough water, and cure 48 hours before u can put frogs in there.
