Hi,
I have a question on heating a frog enclosure. I am setting up a 40 gallon breeder tank that will include a water feature. The land area will be elevated on pvc spacers with plastic egg crate and plastic screen. On top of this will be a mixture if ABG soil mix. I plan on housing a dart frog species in the tank. I am wondering if it will be ok to use a heating cable designed for aquarium use as a source of heat to keep a steady temperature? If that would be ok what size wattage would be recommended.
I read the specs on the TetraFauna Aquatic Reptile Heater and thought it was a nice product. But there are too many negative comments to really consider it.
