Frog noise

What is the difference between a bark and a croak. I have heard the sound of an adult from the recording in this forum. What does the bark sound like? can they be doing that instead of croaking when they are only 2 inches? And, what does it mean?

my WTF bark when somethings changed, but it's kind of a scream. Any small change cab startle them. Maybe they're just mustering up enough streingth just to make a noise.
