I love the look of the exo-terra and zoo med terrariums but will the sizes work for a pair of d. azureus? I see 12 x 12 x 12 (too small?), 12 x 12 x 18 high (azureus are terrestrial so the high is fairly useless, no?) and 18 x 18 x 24 which seems like overkill. Any ideas anyone? Thanks for your help!
The 12x12x12 isn't much floorspace.
They also make an 18x18x18. They are a little bit cheaper.
You are right but what I am asking is how much floor space they need for say, 2 azureus. What size minimum tank? 10 gallon tank seems awfully small compared to what I have read elsewhere on this forum. Someone in another thread said a 55 gallon tank for 2 azureus. So that 5 gallon rule does not work.
Multiply the dimesions and divide the total by 231 I believe. We have 3 tincs, and I don't know if I would like 2 in an exo that size. However I love front opening enclosures for maintenance.
I'm going to guess almost a year.
Thanks, John!!!
I'd probably stick with one of the shorter ones that have more floor space. I believe they have one that is 24"X18"X18".
