Australian obssesion?

Someone came over and called my bird a budgee*(parakeet) I guess it's Australian too. Than bam!!! WTF. My frogs, dog, and bird are Australian in origins. I'm obssesed and didn't even know it!!LOL. But truley I couldn't have picked better breed of frogs for my son. And the dogs name is Aussie dingo, and she looks like one. Best dog--exept she's wild like a dingo--hates people. But the bird that's another story. Just thaught it was a funny realization I'd like to share with everyone.

I'm afraid I've got the same obsession. I've been fascinated with Australia for quite a while (I blame watching Steve Irwin on saturday mornings as a kid). I'd love to go there someday. However, I don't currently own any Australian pets.
