I have no idea if males are more common in wild populations or not. I was hoping for at least one more girl so my poor Taiki wasn't alone, but it just wasn't meant to be. And when I had a guest come into my petstore with a frog in a jar, I made a quick ID on the species and hoped it was a girl....alas, it was not meant to be. Kind of funny in a way. My original male Yoki went from being a lonely boy when his brother died, to having to compete for his girlfriend in a crowd!! Poor guy.
