There have been many accounts of African clawed frogs migrating over land to seek out new breeding territory or find a pond that has water. Xenopus tropicalis will leave the water to bask. These frogs are quite amazing!

As for color morphs, again from what I know, Jenste is probably your best bet.
Jen has successfully bred a couple of species of clawed frog. If you want other species, try borealis or tropicalis. They are commonly available, but expensive.
