New to frogs here. I got my white's tree frog on the 24th of this month. When he (I say 'he' because I've heard him croak at night) got here, he clung to the back of the terrarium and clung there until evening, where I let a couple of crickets loose and it immediately starting moving, came down, and stalked them. That night it hung out in the water dish.
The next night he ate and still sprawled out in his water dish at night. Last night he refused to eat anything. He didn't come hang out at the water dish at all. He just stayed huddled underneath a fake plant in the corner all night - though he did return some croaks when I played some youtube videos of croaking frogs. I let a cricket roam free in there as well, though I gave it a lettuce leaf to munch on if it got hungry - it was there in the morning.
He won't eat at all today, either. I dangled a waxworm and a cricket in front of him and nothing.I try not to handle him really at all, but I scooped him up (with much protest) to a branch and tried to feed him. He just jumped to the back terrarium wall and looked like he'd try to escape for quite a while.
I noticed some redness under his legs, though I don't know if it's normal at all. Now I'm all creeped out by redleg. Current temps in the terrarium are 76.2 degrees F with 50% humidity.
