Mites that are parasitic to snakes, rarely if ever affect frogs. In fact I'm not sure if frogs are even susceptible to mites.

You may be right, with them living in mostly water I think anything on him would drowned. Just had to make sure. I have already had to explain why one frog died, do not want to do that again.
