    Default Glass frogs

I wasn't sure if this belonged here, but this seemed like the best place. Has anyone kept glass frogs of the family Centrolenidae?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I, haven't but a friend has. He has the a terrarium that is taller than wider, and with lots, lots of plants for them to hide, also with some kind of mini-pond with some plants hanging over it, specially if you are planning to reproduce them. This frogs are nocturnal, and he feeds them with fruit flies and some times crickets.

How are you planning to get them, I mean, does someone sells them???

I'm not planning on getting any at the moment. I was just wondering if anyone was keeping them. I would love to get some if I ever had the opportunity.

To the best of my knowledge glass frogs have been absent from the US hobby for many years. Understory Enterprises is currently working with two species from Costa Rica and has a waiting list.

Yeah Costa Rica. You are lucky to be able to buy
frogs in a shop, I have to go to some place in the jungle and get them.

No, you're the lucky one. Costa Rica has some of the most spectacular frogs in the world, Agalychnis callidryas, A, annae, Dendropsophus ebraccatus, Oophaga pumilio, Centronella ilex, just to name a few.

I checked out the Understory Enterprises website, they have some amazing stuff!! Aside from working with the glass frogs like you mentioned, they currently have captive-bred Hylomantis lemur available!! Thanks for the heads-up about Understory Enterprises Tony.
