Whites tree frog scream?

Umm today something very weird happened. I was feeding my frog as usual but when a cricket hopped on his face he let out a weird noise. It sounded like a screech. It was very loud and left me with a headache. What was the cause for this?

mine screamed when she saw that curtain up by her big bowl. LOL. Maybe crickets are too big, scared him. I don't know. Yours eating again though right?

Mine has always eaten right. I don't know if it was too big for my frog because right after that he ate it lol
