It's all relative John. Too much for a T, too little for certain vertebrates.
Even feeding mice every 1-2 months they can get MBD. As adults and froglet's, more so with growing frogs. Shedding doesn't always mean growth, well at least not growing bigger. They replace old skin. They don't have the same convenience we do where it just flakes off.If you supplement him with calcium and proper vitamins, you shouldn't have to worry about MBD.
For those that don't know MBd is caused when the body doesn't have enough calcium in the blood stream. So what happens is their body leaches calcium from their bones, which then become soft and malleable...not pretty.
