Looking to get another, and just found that a place near me has a clown tree frog.
Which is hardier? More active? More fun?
I am nursing a clown frog back to health for a friend in the Military who was sent overseas and his wife didn't feed or take care of his frog at all. My point is, the clown was neglected for almost two months and even though one died before the wife called me for help I have nursed the remaining girl frog back to full strength in very short time. That is one strong frog. The wife didn't mist them, feed them or change the water or anything for almost two months and this little girl frog is doing fine. I doubt if a Red Eye could handle that much neglect, The only down side of the clowns is that they are small and as a result they do require small food items. As far as activity level they seem to be the same as the Red Eyes, but I only have one scared clown as a reference so maybe someone else can chime in on that.
Anyone with experience with these two types?
