As long as it is treated. You have to remove the chlorine for it to be safe.

Like Jeff said. It's never ok to expose a frog to untreated tap water. It can and does lead to health problems in the long run.

I use tap water, because my city tap water is one of the safest in the nation. I drink it myself.

question, been wanting to this myself with Whites Tree Frog. Do I have to worry about soap and toothpaste residue. So, do u bleach sink beforehand, or just good rinse?

Try putting fishes in untreated tap waters and see what happens.

Tap water conditioners are relatively inexpensive and last forever.

I'd recommend getting a water conditioner that also removes hard metals because some of them(like copper) are deadly to frogs. It doesn't matter what species of frog it is, using untreated tap water is never ok to use.

I would just rinse the sink real well with hot water.

The brita does claim to remove 99% of chlorine and heavy metals, but it does so by reverse osmosis which many believe causes other problems in frogs such as an internal mineral imbalance.

What's funny is that i learned in class that even some tap water in certain places are healthier than bottled water. I'm guessing you just gotta filter out the chlorine for the pixies not to have any health issues

Also while it may be safe for US it doesn't make it safe for FROGS.
