Try putting fishes in untreated tap waters and see what happens.

Tap water conditioners are relatively inexpensive and last forever.

I'd recommend getting a water conditioner that also removes hard metals because some of them(like copper) are deadly to frogs. It doesn't matter what species of frog it is, using untreated tap water is never ok to use.

I would just rinse the sink real well with hot water.

I use a Britta and pour it into a bowl.

The brita does claim to remove 99% of chlorine and heavy metals, but it does so by reverse osmosis which many believe causes other problems in frogs such as an internal mineral imbalance.

What's funny is that i learned in class that even some tap water in certain places are healthier than bottled water. I'm guessing you just gotta filter out the chlorine for the pixies not to have any health issues

Also while it may be safe for US it doesn't make it safe for FROGS.
