Cricket Food

Ok so I have a question that I havent had answered yet. I read somewhere that if you dont have gutload for your crickets you can use that freeze dried fish food as an alternative with some some small pieces of carrots also. Has anybody ever heard this? Whats your opiniion on it?

I think that this should not be a problem. I didn´t try fish food, but I feed my crickets with carrot commonly.
