For DN Magazine, we are still looking for people who enjoy writing an article.
The article can be about anything concerning our common hobby, keeping and breeding frogs.
So if you feel like you have something to tell about we would be glad to see if we can publish it in our magazine..
The articles can be about anything, from breeding youre own insects, decorating you're viv, or keeping and breeding of a species you are succesfull with.
An article that is very popular is an overall view of a hobbyist and his/here story behind the hobby, like a view of the frog setups, breeding methods, how it all started and where it got to now or is probably going to in the (near) future,
always nice to get an idea of how other people are experiencing their hobby and how they handle everything.
For some reason, the big brother concept is always interesting to people
If you're subject/article is picked, we send you a copy of the issue it is published in and/or in PDF as well.
Ofcourse we give full credits to the author, there is also room for you to name you're website for instance.
Great way to promote yourself internationaly since we print 1200 copies in English,
already shipped out to a variaty of countries, from Asia to America.
Note: We are a completely non-profit society, all profits will go towards protection and/or education.
Within these objectives, emphasis is on the rainforests of Middle and South America and Madagascar, and on the (poison dart) frogs inhabiting these regions in particular. To these ends, Dendrobatidae Nederland maintains close contacts with various national and international organisations, universities, and the IUCN, as well as providing financial support to the ProAves Amphibian Nature Reserve Ranita Dorado in Colombia, among other beneficiaries.
Hopefuly there are some frog enthusiasts who like to share something with other hobbyists.
You can contact me or Ingmar on PM or trough: info@gifkikkerportaal.nl
A note from the John Clare, founder of Frogforum.net, the site you are using right now: "I would like to point out that Wesley has nothing to do with Frogforum. Frogforum, this wonderful web site you are using right now to learn about and discuss your favorite amphibians, needs articles itself. It would be a shame for people to use this wonderful site only to help a different organization by giving them an article. You don't pay a single penny for the information we offer here. Wesley's organization sells their magazine internationally. I think from an ethical standpoint that if you use Frogforum you should think about Frogforum first please."
