Hey Guys,
Here are three of my four babys. Im 100% they are giant but, no clue on sex. I got them the last week in october and they have gotten big fast. There is a definite difference in the sizes of the four, even tho they came from the same batch of frog gunk. Take a look and see what you think. I have four but "*****y" wouldn't stay still for her photo op.![]()
Roman,
100% sure? Really? They look healthy for dwarfs.(or a cross)Were did you get them?
Cheers,
Jeff
They are giant. You can defiantly tell the difference between the two by looks. His pictures just look like dark and dirty giants. Edulis looks more like toads when they are that little. I have no clue on gender tho.
looks like a young webster or one of daniel l's old pixies
African Bullfrogs, Clawed Frogs, Salamanders, Newts, Bearded Dragons,
What does that mean? There origin? I got them from Ben Siegals here locally... I know he has many more if your interested...
What Will means is that there are a few 'giant' pixies that have coloration of the dwarf species. But these are the rarity. If you look at the Favorite Pyxie Pics Thread, the one in the scale bucket is Webster. He is a lighter color.
wait so thats not his reg color webster

Webster is a pyxie with very unique colors. I think Roman's pyxies do look like adspersus just dark like what's been said. I've seen darker( got pics if anyone is interested). How big are these frogs?(SVL)
Ok... I want to show you my first frog Waaq Padda. Some say hes a Dwarf and others a Giant. Ive read all the posts about the differences between the two and I dont think hes either. His striping, eyes, ear holes in both distance/size, color..all of it, leave me to wonder if he is a "Weber" like you were saying about my little ones. Look at these pics and let me know what you think. Oh, and hes 7 inches from butt to nose. Hes an awesome frog with loads of personality so, I dont really care which he is, I just think its interesting. Ive read that people are now in agreement that there is more than just P.E and P.A, that different regions have different frogs of their own, which would make sense...
If you need different angles, let me know, Im more than happy to provide them.
I
theres another one edulis colors adpersus body with more of a edulis head

Huh? Your reply feel short of my understanding... Are you saying there is another example ( waaq ) of .... Or, are you saying there is another that is documented other than A.P and A.E? also, what do you think of the pictures?
Could you get a picture of the stomach and from above.
I would say Waaq Padda is more P. edulis. Pics from above would help.
Looks to me like another in-betweener
