Hi guys. So, I was wondering if anyone was working with this frog? If you are, are they endandgered or something? For people who keep them, should they be kept like red eye tree frogs? I believe that they are a subspeicy of the red eyed tree frog. Thanks

They are not endangered, but they are also not present in the hobby. They are often found in the same area as red eyes and would likely thrive under similar care if any ever were imported. They are not a subspecies of A. callidryas, they are a distinct species more closely related to A. spurelli.

This frog can be confused with an Agalychnis callydrias if you are walking in the jungle and see it perching on a branch. It isn´t endangered but is listed on CITES II. Is known that males move between trees by jumping and extending its limbs and spreads out the skin between its fingers and toes, this allows the frog to glide for a while.

They are known to live in the same areas as A. callydrias, both are kept in the same way
