I have went through lots of plants looking for hardy stuff that looks good but you have a hard time killing. The best I have found are Pilea involucrata (needs good light), Pelonia, Strawberry begonia, Philodendron wendti, and Scindapsis pictus (low light...keep wet).
I also have some species of moss that came in my sphagnum from Lowe's that has taken over my terribilis tank, and looks great. I can provide small patches of it. BTY...it is not live sphagnum...that stuff dies off after awhile. This stuff has replaced it and looks amazing.
These plants are rock hardy. Just stick a good stem with a leaf in some moist sphagnum and voila...new plant. Strawberry begonia is a veritable pest it spreads so fast. I am tired of pruning and pitching this stuff, to be honest.
I have a number of P. involucrata and Pelonia starts, and some strawberry begonia, scindapsis, and a wendti that needs split into about 4 plants. The moss has been doing nothing but spreading for two years (over ground and wood), so no dormancy is apparently needed.
I'll sell clippings for $3 each, including 2" x 2" patches of the moss. The wendti splits will be $5...and I'll only have three available. The Strawberry begonia will be small plants.
I'm not sure what shipping will cost...maybe $6? If I have to throw a heat pack in it may be more. Shipping plants shouldn't be too complicated. If you order a bunch I'll LOAD YOU UP with extras...I might even throw in a Dossinia marmorata cutting if you want enough stuff...
Just PM me and let me know what you want.
Peace
can I see a pic of the moss?
