    Default Roaches

    Hey Guys,
Cant do roaches... My girl is Really terrified of them and I need to respect that if I ever want to touch her again . Ive been doing crickets everyday, as much as they will eat in a 15 min set and, a pink every week. Im in the process of looking for a supply of earthworms but, Im afraid that the bait shops worms might be parasitic. I want variance, can anyone suppy me with ideas on what to do?
    Thanks

Pixies aren't picky. I get night crawlers from Walmart. You can feed a wide variety of things. Crickets, meal worms, horned worms, fish, night crawlers, shrimp, roaches, mice, chicks, strips of raw meat, etc. The main thing is to keep it balanced out. Not too heavy of any one thing, and don't forget the calcium and vitamin supplements.

    Good luck

I agree with most of that, and I too get nightcrawlers from Walmart as well as a local bait store. However, I would personally stay away from raw meat, and once a week pinky sounds like a bit too much dietary mammal. But that is just my opinion. Roman, you should also probably ditch the moss in your terrarium. My understanding is that moss can pose a serious impaction risk. Good luck with the babies, can't wait to see pictures of them all grown up!

Thanks guys I dont feed them in the enclosure. I take them out and feed them individually in their own 6qt. The moss is just for there digging enjoyment. They seem to really enjoy it.
