so can i keep one in a ten gallon?

I don't think so. I have a whites tree frog and she gets pretty active at night. They get fairly large especially the females. I would say 20 is the minimum. But for a small one a 10 fal is fine until it outgrows it. Mine grew out of hers in only a few months.
