    Default Powdered pillow moss?

I heard you can take dry pillow moss, grind it up into a powder and use it in a few different ways. Take the powder and rub it into damp wood accents in the viv. or sprinkle it on the substrate. It sounds so interesting I got to try it. Also spores from asst. ferns may be in there and they come up. Has anybody used this technique?

Yeah I have once. But as an experiment. You have to rip up the clumps of moss first and wash off as much dirt as you can. Then you put it in a blender and pour milk in. Blend it up until it's like a green "shake". Then pour it over whatever you want it to grow on and make sure it stays constantly moist (Not soaken or it will not grip whatever you want it to). Hope this helps
