Very cheap set up! ££££

Hi guys, this is my FBT setup, overall ive spent £80 on this and that was with buying the tank and lighting and toads brand new, if you have this laying around in the basement or garage, this will cost practically nothing so ill break it down
£30 - Clearseal 30x15x12 (long) aquarium with FREE gravel
£20 - 4 x FBT
£8 - 1 x small fluval filter system
£20 - 1x 28" tube lighting setup
£2 - Live plants
Free - decorative rocks from garden
Free - Decorative drift wood from the beach
Free - Moss, from plant pot in garden

I also have a ultrasonic fogger (with LEDs ) , wich cost me £10 it was a halloween decoration some kind of crystal ball thing wich contained the fogger, but i no longer use this as it seemed to be promoting mold growth

a few tips if your going to use the

ROCKS - to make sure these are clean and parasite free and safe to go into your enclosure you can either place the rocks in boiling water and add a small amount of bleach (be sure there is no smell of bleach after you have rinse them and let them sit for 24 hours.

DRIFTWOOD - to make sure this is free from parasites and anything harmful like salts (they came from the ocean) i would recomend soaking them in water for a minimum of 2 hours and then place the should be soaked would into the freezer to kill any bacteria

MOSS - be sure this hasnt come from any area that has had any chemicals near it, like weed killers etc. to be sure of this if possible you could go to your local wood and find some there im sure

A favourite trick of mine wich is probably not recommended, but it has always worked for me is to keep, "Algae loachs" in your tank, this is if you have a filter, no heater seems to be required for these they do great in room temperature and help to keep your glass and submerged decoration clean

ive changed this tank around a bit here are some new photos, better quality also and some nice shots of the FBT's themselves

I kno its allot simpler and plainer but one of the poor guys is sick so its easier for me to find him and keep on eye on his behaviour
