Hi all
I am re-doing my FBT's set-up while I have some time off over Christmas after being inspired by all the awesome new set-ups that have been on display lately.
I am wanting to have a 40/60 land/water split divided by a piece of glass in an aquarium. The water depth will be about 12cm (4.7 inches) with some smaller water plants, pebbles, etc etc. We have a local species of fish which are common 'Guppies' which I use in my outside pond (home to a few 1000 Guttural Toad tadpoles and African Clawed Frogs) and these little guys take care of the algae and general cleaning up of the pond. I wanted to check if you think this is a bad idea keeping them together with my FBT?
I will keep the fish in the tank a few weeks to get the cycle going nicely before introducing the FBT.
I am just worried about introducing parasites or something similar if I do this, will they irritate the FBT? Would maybe a tetra or 2 be a better option do you think?
Any advice would be appreciated
