Vitamin Supplements , What do I need to use ? Do my toads need any ?
I find that my FBT's love a mixture of protien shakes and flinstone vitamins.![]()
I use Rep Cal Calcium & Rep Cal Herptivite, for my pac man and I will be using it for my fire belly toads as well (when I get some).
What exactly kind of vitamin supplements are you asking for? omega 3 fish oil? Thanks!

I don't even use supplements and/or vitamins. I always say the best way to obtain optimum nutrition is variety. I know that it isn't always possible to do so, but simply adding earthworms or other critters along with crickets will greatly boost your toads nutritional load.
At the pet store they said the toads need calcium . So I got some calcium powder which I dust on the crickets before I feed them . I do that once a week .
There was also a multivitamin powder , but I think that might be overkill and too much for them .
Gut load your crickets, I prefer cricket total bites, and I vary their diet with phoenix worms which definitely have calcium in them.
Ya phoenix worms are a good source of extra Calcium. Also for your crickets have them eat some fresh cut potato and dark leaf greens (make sure they're organic). Those boast decent amounts of calcium, which will be absorbed by the crickets. Also earthworms have an excellent Phosphorus to Calcium ratio, which will greatly aid in bone growth and density - plus earthworms are cheap, easy to keep, and find (whether outside or at a store).
So I should just skip the powder calcium ?
I feed my crickets this stuff ,
Fluker's Farms Calcium Fortified Cricket Quencher - Food - Reptile - PetSmart
Fluker's High Calcium Cricket Feed - Food - Reptile - PetSmart
You can if you want, but I have found that feeding the crickets fresh fruits and vegetables as a cheap alternative. Plus you know what they are getting, who knows what the cricket food has in it.
