I have a 26 gal. tall tank. Is that big enough for 2 whites treefrogs?
Definitely. You could even throw in a couple more.
I have two frog lets that currently reside in a small plastic habitat...and I'm going to attempt to turn my 20 gallon Vivariums into a suitable environment for them.
From my experience, a 26 gallon would be just big enough for 2 - assuming they were adults. Whites' can be quite active at night so having a lot of space to move around would be preferable. I wouldn't put more than 2 in there. And in designing your viv, be sure to have plenty of sturdy branches, plants and features that maximize surface area. Hope this helps.
The typical recommendation is 10 gallons per frog. Size and activity levels of the frogs does play a factor and whites do get pretty large.
I would start off with a 20 gallon min and put two in there. Whites get pretty big.
