New to the world of amphibians.Got a pair of Peruvian toads, black with yellow spots.

With no more than that it is hard to say, but judging from what is currently available in the hobby you probably have melanophryniscus stelzneri and there is a care sheet for those on this web site. Are they also about an inch long with red on the bottoms of their feet and on the groin area? If so they are M. stelzneri and not Peruvian at all, they are wc from Paraguay.
