This bulb says for reptiles , should I use it with my toads ? I read on the internet that FBT don't like bright lights on them , is this true ?

Should be ok, just provide shady areas that they can retreat to.
If your using the bulb to grow out plants in the tank, then just go with a regular fluorescent bulb. Not much difference between the two except the bs they put on box.
My toads hated the light , Ha ! I put it at one end of the tank and they stayed on the other end with their backs to the light facing away from it , pretty much all day . Maybe they were afraid of the extra light , not sure . But as soon as I turned it off they went back to their normal activity . Usually they are all over the place and in a new spot every time I walk in my room to check on them .
It might just be to bright for them or something less like that. If that's the problem I wouldn't use a light bulb near them.
