I plan to be in the states in early August. Had I not run into you here I was going to order a couple pairs of reticulateds from xenopus.com.
Do you have any idea what it cost to ship? They give a range on that site, but from what I have read here you have some experience with it.

It used to be $50 - due to their high ship rate it was lower than most shippers but my last order was close to $80 and they did not give the 1030 arrival time shkpping but saver next day which for residential areas means afternoon/evening delivery and my last frog arrived covered in ammonia burns from sitting in waste during the prolonged shipping.

To be honest I am a little put off with xenopus for the time being due to that situation and lack of caring on their part when contacted with pictures of the frogs burns.

I read thru that thread. I would be a bit upset too especially with it being such a hard to get color morph. Not a ton they could do, but some concern would have been nice and perhaps a look at the way they are doing things. The lighter skin frogs show ammonia burns well. Often the "natural" colored frogs get them too and it goes unnoticed. I really only considered them as the choices are quite limited. It will have been 4 years since I was home and 4 years since I have driven across the border.

Aw i wish i was living in the states then i could be a part of this. Finding any morph apart from albino's is really really difficult here i the UK. Jenste tried helping me out with a guy who might have been able to help me but i never heard back from him.

Im sure if you do get froglets from jenste they will be of superior quality, She knows her Xenopus!

I hear you guys - - and Frogman I will try and get in touch with that guy for you tomorrow and will see if he can get me a direct number for you in Scotland. If you can, send me an email to ACFrogQueen@gmail.com and I will pass along the email to him so he can also have a way to contact you.

I also order from Xenopus do the lack of available color morphs from other companies - Live Biologics, Xenopus 1 etc have only natural and albino morphs available.
