Turn for the worse

Freckles is now having extreme trouble swimming. Last night while changing his water (yes it was treated), he just went berserk and started swimming in tiny circles. He would then swim and twist....it was overall madness. His color is VERY dark today. When he floats at the top its off to one side. He looks fatter. His butt had looked kind of deflated, now its all plump again. Please help my froggie

Also, I'm sorry if you have already posted this somewhere but has he been to the vet? and if so what did they say ?

Freckles passed away this evening around 10:30. He seemed to go peacefully. At least he and Bibbit can be reunited now. Although it is not the way I had wanted them to be reunited.

I had not been able to take either of them to the vet since there aren't any vets in this area that really deal with frogs. I really wish more vets dealt with herps.

On a lighter note, I like your avatar. Corgis are among my favorite dogs. Very adorable.
