My 2 pacs seem to have gone into hibernation....Disappeared into the 6 inches of coconut fiber substrate 6 weeks ago and haven't heard from them since. I know they are alive. I have not changed temp or humidity for 2 years I have had them. I thought it might be a chacoan /paraguay climate change behavior during the dry season, but I haven't changed anything. They have not made the epithelial coccon, just both decided to bury at the same time in their separate tanks. I am keeping the substrate moist to prevent dehydration, and even soaked it quite well once to see if I could trick them into thinking the rainy season was here. All to no avail. Any one know what they are doing ????
