    Usually you don't see metabolic in front of bone, it's usually bone disease or metabolic disorder, but I am sure there are many diseases and disorders I am unfamiliar with. So by all means explain this to me, I'd love to learn.

    MBD stands for Metabolic Bone Disease, also known as 'soft bones'. It is an umbrella term that is used to describe bone conditions, often caused by calcium deficiency.
    Google it, there is loads of info out there.
