Sorry but its not a good idea to mix frog species as they can secret toxins to each other which can be very harmful. So I would stick to the same species.
Dirt/soil can be irritating to frogs as it sticks to the skin. You can put leaf litter on top or Moss which your frogs will love. Good to have you on the forum.
