    Frogs/toads truly are one of mother natures' most interesting, and unbelievable, creatures.
    There are even many reports of frogs/toads being found inside solid rock, still alive!
    They're remarkable.

    I agree that amphibians are remarkable creatures

    I like the story of a small salamander (Randon sibiricus) living for 90 years completely frozen in central Russia. They carefully thawed out the animal and it walked away to explore the wilds once again. Scientists are studying how amphibians can do such feats so that it may increase the longevity of vital organs used in transplants.

    yep. We call them "frogcicles" up here in Alaska. Very few amphibian species have evolved the freeze-solid-and-live trick; that's why so few species exists where there is permafrost.
