They are just normal eco-friendly bulbs. You can get them at like Walmart or Publix.

Sun light is great. As long as they have a way to escape from it when needed. What are the outdoor temps like? I would imagine it'd be getting colder everywhere right now.

Yea, even in FL

It is about 75-80 degrees in southern california. with wind, but the sunlight was good. They had shade too and enough to burrow if it got too hot for them

Yes they are! they are three stacked up on each other. I opened each one so sun can get in there either way, but i'm sure the sunlight would get in through the clear drawers
