HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!
I have a new batch of tadpoles - -
I had Phantom (natural male) and Phoenix (albino female) in a breeding tank for about 10 days...and nothing. Phantom was latched onto her the whole time but she wasn't laying....then Monday night they finally laid - - I didn't have high hopes due to the fact that Phantom had probably been trying to fertilize the whole time ...
sure enough, the eggs looked unfertilized but I decided to give them some time...
went to check on them - - I have a couple little tadpoles swimming around!!!
so...here we go again!!!
Congratulations! Best of luck with them .

That's great..congratulations .
Thank you!!! I am quite excited!!
the tadpoles are a week old today! hopefully will be able to take a clear picture of them tomorrow
Yay!!..Its amazing how much they grow in a week. I will be looking for the photo's.
Looking forward to seeing those new tadpoles.
finally have a working camera so I can take pictures!!!
two weeks and 3 days old!
and just like the last batch, I have some "light" tadpoles and some "dark" tadpoles....the "dark" tadpoles from the last batch ended up being natural/marbled like their daddy and the "light" tadpoles ended up being reticulated albinos....lets see what they become this time!!!
Hey there, congrats on the tads!! I know this is an older post, but I wanted to know, what you do, to successfully get the tads to froglet stage..as far as feeding, any water changes, etc...any help is MUCH appreciated...Im trying to breed 2 pairs now, so hopefully, within a week or so (or less), I'll have eggs, or tads!!! In the past, I was usually able to successfully breed, but the tads always seemed to die off in 2-3 weeks ;o( - Tom
hi!
on another topic I helped another member interested in breeding - I posted info and pictures that should be able to help you
I plan on putting a more in depth guide together in the upcoming weeks

Thanks for the awesome in depth tadpole care guide ;o) well, by tomorrow evening, hopefully I'll see some changes in the egg tank...Im excited, and hope they don't all die this time around...Id like at least, 10-20 to make it...I'll keep everyone posted!! I'm going to try to get some clear enough pics, of mama & daddy (I haven't named them yet, as I want really cool, good names for them) - Tom
