    If she did, she must be exaggerating. The last update she gave on him while still in her care I believe she said he was 8.

    He's alittle over 7" long but guessing if he was to lay flat and stretched out in his waterdish he'll be close to almost 8.

    Is this considered a male? i thought males have more yellow on there throat

    The dwarfs do have the yellow throats. But the true giants maintain the white on their neck and belly.

    I have seen videos and pictures of a few giant males with yellow throat/underside, they're out there but just not as common at least in the hobby. Would be nice if someone would breed these guys for that trait though. And from what I observed it seems those males tend to be a ligther green.

    In P. adspersus males tend to have more of a yellowish/cream colored throat when compared to females. It's not as defined as it is in dwarfs though.
