The only way thefire belley would eat the leaf would be if a cricket was seeking refuge on top of it. They lunge quickly and sometimes other things can get in their mouthes. If its a soft plant hopefully it will break down for him to pass it. Warm water bathes can help them to pass things if you suspect it to be a problem.

As i already said the pistia was added after the last feeding and i am 100% sure there were no crickets left in the vivarium. The only other option is some other insect got in, a fly may be cuz its getting cold outside and they sneak in the house pretty often. But by the jaw marks on the leaf it looks like the toad have bite it several times

Im not bothered about it, cuz i dont see any strange behavior or smthing... atleast for now, i just got curious
