My pacman is acting strange. is anyone else having the same problum

Hello,
My pacman named toad usually burries in the shrubbary i have in his tank. but over the last few day I've noticed that he is out in the middle of his tank with his eyes closed. I took him out for his feeding but he got really mad when I put him in his feeding tank and kept raming the side of his tank and wouldn't eat. When I put him back into his regualar tank he closed his eyes and relaxed again. I've had him 2 years now and have never seen him sit in the open with his eyes closed. I have a heat lamp and a uv lamp in his tank that are only on durning the day. even though the tem is regulated could he still hibernate?
