    Default Rhacophorus reinwardtii

Well, the Rhacophorus reinwardtii have been in the rain chamber for almost a week now. Not a peep the first day or two. Then the past two or three days there has been some calling, but no eggs yet. I am hopeful, because when I got up this morning, one of the males and the female were in amplexus. Still no eggs, but hopefull. A little while ago, I heard some calling and went to investigate. The male is off of the female, he had been there all day, and is now running around the tank. She is still asleep, but I got a real good look at her and she looks fat! So I am guessing that there are eggs in her. So hopefully tomorrow, there will be eggs. I sure hope so.

Could you post some pictures of the frogs and the rain chamber please. I have some Owonake Flying frogs that I think are Rhacophorus reinwardtii and I need to know what species they are.

Good luck with them, we need more captive bred Rhacs in the hobby.

Good luck, maybe if you played them some "mood music" it would help them find their groove!LOL Sorry, I couldn't help myself! ; )

Nothing yet, except losing a little bit of sleep from the noise. They are no longer in amplexus and I had a closer look at the female, I have noticed her nose is a bit roughed up. I hope that is not effecting any progress.
