    Default Hi from western Canada

Hey everyone, cool forum. I run a rescue and received 2 Australian tree frogs a couple of days ago. That's what the guy said they were. One is a Red-eyed tree frog and the other was a mystery to us. I found your forum and was going to post a pic of the unknown one but thanks to your fabulous photo gallery, I found him. He's a Big-eyed frog and oh so cute.
Just wanted to say hi and thank you!

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your new additions. What other rescues do you deal with? I am also from B.C., as are a few other members.

Thanks everyone. Jo-Anna, we take in all legal reptiles and amphibians. We get very few frogs into rescue, mostly Ball pythons, Bearded Dragons and sliders. Are you in the lowermainland?

No, but I am not that far away-in Kamloops. I came across your site while doing research on Ball Pythons as I am looking into getting one and setting it up in a spare 55 gallon I have. A pet store close to me has two for sale (a standard coloured female and a pinstriped male), so I have been going in and asking lots of questions and holding them. I am quite taken with the female, who suffered some recent trauma, but seems no worse the wear for it.

I also bookmarked your site and check it occassionally, just to see if you have received any frogs/toads...

Kamloops is nice. We have lots of Balls available for adoption and the 2 frogs we just got will be available in a month.
