Welcome to the forum ...John
Hi tall, I am John Visser, a herpetologist residing in Namibia, with an interest in the taxonomy, distribution, calls, behaviour and reproduction of all African frog species. My current research centers on the taxonomy of Pyxicephalus in collaboration with Don Broadley and Rob Hopkins of the National Museum in Bulawayo and Liz Scott at the American Museum of Natural History. I am simultaneously working on Phrynomantis.

Hi John:
Welcome to Frog Forum. I am also interested in African frogs and toads. My interests are mostly in the families Pipidae and Hyperoliidae. I worked at Henry Doorly Zoo as an amphibian keeper. It is a leader in amphibian conservation and has a close relationship with the Johannesburg Zoo, hence my interest in African amphibians.
Looking forward to your contributions. There are a lot of Pyxie fans on the forum.
