Awesome set up! Did you catch him? Or raise him from a tad?

    Outstanding build!

I never thought I would hear myself say I wish I was a bullfrog.
There was this guy, Jeremiah, however...

Seriously though, I am curious as to what you used for the floor of the enclosure under the substrate.
Looks like a really solid build!

    Thank you...

    1. I caught her... I hope I can do that... I have a fishing license... and it says I can take bullfrogs? I just did not kill or eat her! I raised one from a tad this spring.. but it died about 1 month after moving to land... got the bloat.

    2. The build. I built a 4 X 4 box out of 3/4 marine plywood 10" deep. put it on cinder blocks. lined it with 4 mill plastic folded two sheets. Filled with peatmoss then 6 40lb bags of topsoil... then 2 peices of fescue sod... a chunck of wild violets & strawberries from my yard and a clump of some grass/weed that is tall and bushy. the pool came from petsmart and I have a filter and water plants with skipper rocks on the bottom and some granit looking rocks as a step out. Its stocked with 30 feeder fish. plan on getting some crawfish and removing the pinchers... the plexieglass is 4 X 2 and held on with bolts and wingnuts so I can get in and out for cleaning. I Think it looks good... oh... the grow lights are 4 4' bulbs no heat... on a 12 hour timer. since its a girl frog she hides in the tall weeds in the back. she also likes to hide under the flat rock in the water that bridges the land. I think next weekend I will go back to my buddys farm and try to roost out a male bullfrog the same size. wonder how many we will have to catch to find a yellow neck large circle drum... boy. oh well... on to catchining more earthworms...

Speedie is beautiful, and I LOVE the water hyacinth. I hope I get an excuse to use some some day.
